Are we trying to get normies on NOSTR? I don’t know about you, but shopping during COVID as a non-masker was actually a VIP experience. I remember going to an office store once and they saw my free breathing, uncovered face as such a threat they asked me what I needed and brought every option to me. I haven’t received that level of service ever again 😭 Also, the roads had so much less traffic! I had a piece of paper that said I was allowed to be out driving past curfew (BLM riots) because I was deemed an essential worker. 😭 I also sped like crazy because ironically I never saw a cop. I guess cops were afraid of the boogie man too. I’m going to find that paper I know I saved to show my kids someday and get it framed as a reminder of how insane 2020 was. So yeah I’d rather let normies be normie….staying at home scared of the boogie man while we can go out and have fun racing in the streets! I think like anything, if you’re meant to find it, you will. And at the exact perfect time. 💖🐇🙏🏽 If you have to explain why decentralization is a good thing to a grown adult, it’s not worth my energy to convince them.

Is this a worldwide phenomenon? The level of service and motivation of employees in retail is such poop since COVID. Went to Home Depot yesterday…asked an employee for help. All they do is pull out their phone with the app and tell you the isle (which I can do myself), with an attitude being annoyed you asked. This isn’t 100% of people or 100% of my experience, but I would say here in the USA, it is about 88% of the time for me. I refuse to lower my standards and accept this, maybe because I have worked retail in the past?!
