Great engineering often involves leaving out what, on the surface, seems like an essential requirement.
Consider if you were asked to design a system that everyone in the world could use.
Your intuitive first step might be to create a "UserName" and "UserNumber".
But if you did, some authority could tell you to freeze or delete or deny some UserNames or UserNumbers from using the system. This then would violate the system's design requirement of everyone being able to use it.
So it turns out you must actually leave out the obvious, but flawed solution. And it's by no means obvious what you would instead implement. So it becomes a hard problem.
This is just one example of the many hard problems Satoshi Nakamoto simultaneously solved in Bitcoin.

The five stages of bitcoin:
Denial: Bitcoin is made up and worthless.
Anger: Bitcoiners are mean.
Bargaining: I'll buy some when the price goes down.
Depression: I missed the boat.
Acceptance: I accept bitcoin - please pay me in bitcoin.

It’s not only okay to tell the people you love that you love them, it’s encouraged. It makes you think about who you love (or don’t), and lets them know they’re loved. It makes you think about what love means to you.

Is Bitcoin still a thing
Hate to say this, but I just got off of calls with three very powerful people. No, they're not wildly rich. No, they don't control the lives of many others. No, they aren't going to pump the price of your bags.
Their power is their self-sovereignty and their desire to be free, happy, and purposeful.
You too are equally powerful. You only need to want to live your purpose and commit to doing so as your first step, even if you don't yet know what that is.
From there you'll start to see a purpose you're passionate about and able to become more excellent at through the course of your life. And then, let go of your fears and start working towards making your dream a reality through hard work, perseverance, conviction, openness, an abundance mindset, focus, and determination.
he American dream of owning a house, having a steady job and a healthy family was noble for its time.
The Bitcoinian dream builds on this by changing steady job to pursuit of one's true creative and/or productive purpose.
… and, of course, the Bitcoinian dream is available everywhere to everyone, always.
Don't expect the state to do what is incumbent upon the people to do.
