You know, it's funny... Everyone on here is acting like everything will be different. The world will be different. Change is coming. Blah, blah, fucking, blah... Yeah, it'll be different for those who get in early (both the tech and with those running things), and for those who refuse to adapt. You know who it won't be different for? Everyone in between, just like has always been the case. The lives of those who just get pulled along will be no different than it has ever been. Who believes that direct-democracy style infrastructure will work for 8 billion people - all at once? If so, you dont fucking get it to begin with.
