Why pretend in a room full of fakes?
"Fiat" means "by arbitrary decree." No matter what form money takes, historically or in the future, it's no more than a symbolic derivative of barter. Think on that. 
It's insane what people will believe if they're just told something forcefully enough. No one ever wonders what might really be going on.
