i hang on Nostr a lot, but it's rare that i post here. so, i wanted to take a moment to express my awe and appreciation for the people here. the devs are building ingenius freedom tools. and fun features. the plebs (including each unique individual here, side-by-side with many brilliant "large-following-on-twitter-but-here-just-one-of-us" writers and thinkers) all hang out together and manifest this free, funny, and open community. i would not have expected that an online social space could ever actually regain the respectful, thoughtful, authentic nature of engagement that we've discovered and created here on Nostr. it's a breath of fresh air, a sight for sore eyes, and i can't fully express how extraordinary this is. thank you - to every one of you. i'm not normally big on hashtags... but #grownostr and #plebchain feel quite appropriate today 🫂💜⚡🤝🤙 onward 🫡

Amethyst putting a scrolling video feed as the primary Global experience is very clever. Attract the instagram/tiktok style scrollers. It also works very smoothly. Couple it with a marketplace for algorithms and you have your feature replacement (improvement!). Nice work 🔥 #plebchain #grownostr

Damn i almost forgot i had nostr, til i saw that sorry excuse for a news article in business insider. So i logged on today to support this protocol that is full of compassionate, thoughtful, and ingelligent people who care about human flourishing. Ya, there are a few trolls and bigots. Have you ever met the internet? Fuck those guys for sure, but most of nostr is great. Doxxing a dev is uncool as fuck. Unimpressed.

Hey Nostr rockstars 🤘 It's been a few days since i logged on, but been following recent developments via the likes of Citadel Dispatch and RHR on zap.stream so i guess that counts. The Samourai Wallet news hit me hard. I largely steered clear of the drama over the years, and i can't speak to whether they broke any laws. But they built a tool that hundreds - if not thousands - of human rights activists and freedom fighters used to protect their families' privacy and safety. If law enforcement does deanonymize these users' transactions (and I fear that they will), it is incumbent upon them to carefully guard (ie encrypt or destroy) that data. I'm not optimistic. We must defend our own privacy if we are tk havy any...Let us proceed together apace. Onward. #privacy #samourai (Can i use #plebchain here?)
