I'm starting to appreciate, thanks to nostr, a collection of people interested in food/farming/traditional craft/working with hand/homesteading who are brought together through bitcoin. The predominant trading/finance/politics/tech aspects obviously have their place but, personally, I find it good to see some of the cool people together here who are living and exploring the ability of the mix. 🫡

What food do you consume that you would consider bitter? Do you often consume or search out for the bitter taste? Personally I'm a big eater of bitter gourd but other than that there are probably only a handful of leafy greens or maybe some herbs that would fall into the bitter taste category. Is it because bitter is maybe associated with poison so that's why it is a less common taste in our diets?
