星洲炒米......Singapore Noodles.
Actually not from Singapore, it's a HK thing. My wife is a pro at cooking them so I'm very lucky!
First off I’m not a deep comic guy. I don’t know all the catalogue, editions, grades, obscure facts etc. I just kept these comics from the late 70s/80s.
This comic series started in 1971 and is called 李小龍, which is Bruce Lee’s name. It is written/drawn by 上官小寶, but I think he would maybe have had other artists over the years. That time Bruce Lee was very popular/famous and so the comic isn’t about him but is about a kung fu hero. At that time in Hong Kong the early generation of refugees were already moved into the new public housing estates and the setting of this comic is about those times. A humble grass roots guy who is righteous and fighting against injustice and gangsters. Those of you who are familiar with HK movies from 70s/80s will recognise that kind of theme, even if the hero was also a gangster!
The early 70s issues are more cartoon style and way more violent but in the mid 70s the HK government put out a regulation on “Indecent articles” which included violence in comics, so after that the comics were a bit less bloody and seemed like the characters were drawn a bit more real humanlike.
The issues I have kept were from late 70s/early 80s, the earlier stuff was when I was too young. I kept these ones because the artwork is really striking, I think, and it’s a part of our history.
I have some other comics from other artists that I might share later. One thing I really like about the art is the representation of movement.

Looking at some old tools online and found myself remembering old ratchet screwdrivers. I haven't seen or used one for probably 30+ years but it's surreal how visceral my memory of pushing that "switch(?)" is.

Taking my quantum thoughts and throwing them around.
The ideas I've seen on quantum communication, which is based on the theories of entanglement, maybe we'll be able to build quantum based bitcoin mints/payment layers that will use a different kind of device that is not necessarily internet connected( at least for the off mainchain part of the transactions).👾
I wish I was smart enough to be able to speculate on how, instead of quantum computing being a "potential" threat to say SHA 256 etc, there was a way that the Bitcoin could take advantage or adapt into quantum theories and developments.

What's stopping relay providers or clients on nostr from doing the same?
