Classical liberals are the only ones who understand that the state is a malignant organism on the body of society and that is why it should be systematically limited, controlled and cut whenever it starts to grow uncontrollably. It is your right to be ignorant and not understand this, but that does not protect you from the consequences. So now we have a new regulation being pushed by the Supreme Soviet in Brussels, which supposedly protects women from lower wages compared to men. Capitalism or the free market does not recognize gender, race and nation. If you need a top expert or worker, you don't give a damn about these ephemeral things. You simply do not have the luxury of bothering with trifles. If you work for a company that does this, quit IMMEDIATELY! This means that you work for a business entity that is not in the real market. Regardless of the form of ownership, it is a business that owes its survival to some budget, political protection and connections, crime, monopoly and similar anti-market ways of doing business. The smarter ones among you now understand that the state has a hand in all of the above. Either by doing or not doing. Even if it is a nominally private company, given that the vast majority of money flows into is controlled by the state, which protects part of the real sector, such quasi-entrepreneurs have the luxury of not having to hire the best that is offered to them, and then they discriminate based on gender, nation, religion, race, you name it. In other words, as it always happens, the state creates a problem and then supposedly offers us a "magical" solution. It wouldn't be so catastrophic if it didn't slow down and complicate the business of companies that don't have time to deal with nonsense, which makes us uncompetitive compared to the rest of the world.
