PearCal v1.0.16 is out!
A private, peer-to-peer calendar for Android and iOS
What's new:
- add configurable seed peer setting
- improved iOS background sync and fix startup race
Bugfixes:
- events not defaulting to current day
PearCal is now available for TestFlight in App Store! I shouldn't need to add any emails for this one, just need to use this public link to download and test. Let me know how it goes!
PearCal is ready for Closed Testing on Google Play Store. I have to do the following before it can be published for Production on the Google Play Store: "you must run a closed test for your app with a minimum of 12 testers who have been opted-in for at least the last 14 days continuously".
If you're able and willing, please DM me an email address I can add to Testers list and opt-in as a tester and install so I can meet the requirements. Let me know if you have any questions or feedback!
Once I have added you as a Tester use this link to opt-in so you can access on the Play Store: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pearcal
I'm comfortable enough to finally promote my first app.
I'm focusing on p2p alternatives to commonly used apps that SHOULDN'T need to use centralized services. I plan to use the Pear stack (https://www.pears.com) with holepunching for the back end.
First up is PearCal, a calendar sharing app:
