I actually started thinking about this goal because of the people in my GC. Seeing some of them genuinely trying to learn more about BCH opened my eyes to something.
What made me happy was seeing them talk about saving up so they could eventually afford membership and support content creators and community activities. I don’t know if they’ll actually reach that goal, but the fact that they’re already thinking about ways to contribute really makes me happy.
I’ve invited quite a lot of people, but after inviting them, it’s their choice whether they want to explore the platform, stay, or leave. What makes me even happier is seeing some of the people I invited actually grow here.
They learned to enjoy the community, tip other users, explore different communities, and participate even when there aren’t many rewards. Some don’t post every day, and that’s completely fine. What matters to me is that they’re slowly learning, finding their own reasons to stay, and becoming part of the community in their own way.
And to contribute to the community, I’ve also set a small goal for myself. Whenever I earn, I’ll set aside a portion for tipping here on BCHNostr, so the BCH can keep circulating through tips.
I was thinking, what if we all had one separate wallet specifically for giving and receiving tips within BCHNostr? It wouldn’t be for withdrawals.. just for circulating BCH among community members. Then we could have another wallet or separate budget for funds we actually want to withdraw.
Does that make sense? I’m just wondering if something like this could help keep the tips circulating within our community.
