Why is it so hard to setup a LNURL to my own node? Not being able to create a "lightning address" without resorting to wallet of satoshi or something similar is painful.

How nice would it be if Nostr caught on? It needs to be adopted in circles outside of Bitcoin, and even outside of cryptocurrency. All alternative social media platforms are plagued by being centered around one thing, the one thing that spawned them (politics, bitcoin, free speech, etc). Because of this no one outside of those circles is interested in using the platform. How does nostr bread this mold?
