Today I went to the memorial service of a 95 yro friend. He was distant family, a big honey customer, a fan of our rival football team, holding different political views from me, despite this I was incredibly fond of him. He could jitterbug, loved camping, travel, dogs, honey, life, and the Lord. He was one joyous soul, and I surprised myself by the brimming tears that would not retreat during his service, which could not have been more beautiful, especially the acapella I’ll Fly Away, in the traditional manner. Mac, you’re a sweetheart and I’ll never forget you.

Welp. She’s got the miles but she’s still rollin’, and I still love her.
