Maybe I'm just dumb, but when I heard that McDonald's food never gets moldy, I translated that to, fungus simply doesn't want to eat it. But that's not right, there is fungus that eats practically anything on earth, including plastic. So the truth is fungus likely tries to eat McDonald's and other super processed foods, but dies. So it's not that fungus thinks it is 'plastic' i.e. not material to eat. But rather super processed food is LETHAL.
