Mamdani seals remarkable victory, but real challenges await. The Democratic Party should keep in mind that NYC is much further to the left politically than most of the country, most Americans are more moderate politically. I wasn’t particularly a fan of any of the candidates for NYC Mayor, but Mamdani is going to have trouble securing financing to accomplish most of the promises he campaigned on and this will probably be used to campaign against other Democrats running for office in the 2026 and 2028 🇺🇸
