Americans are worried about losing their jobs and increasing prices. 🇺🇸 The University of Michigan’s preliminary Survey of Consumers released on Friday, September 12th, showed that overall consumer sentiment dropped to 55.4% in September, a 4.8% decline from August’s reading of 58.2%. The headline consumer sentiment index is down by 21% from a year ago. Consumer sentiment decreased while government data showed a hiring slowdown along with an increase in inflation.
