Albuquerque’s status as an “immigrant-friendly” city is once again a focal point in the city’s mayoral race—this time with tens of millions of dollars in federal funding hanging in the balance. 🇺🇸 As of Monday, the candidates include Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller, Albuquerque City Councilor Louie Sanchez, former Bernalillo County Sheriff Darren White, Entrepreneur Daniel Chavez, former U.S. Attorney Alex Uballez, Navy veteran Mayling Armijo and retired Fire Chief Eddie Varela.
