Aug 15, 1971: Nixon ends gold-backed money. 54 years since Nixon said, “We’re taking the dollar off gold - just temporarily.” 54 years later, the dollar’s lost over 90% of its purchasing power. I’m grateful every day that I discovered Bitcoin - perfect money, digital gold that no president (or anyone) can debase - the exit ramp from silent theft. Proud to be part of the peaceful revolution.
