Is there an app that does this? Ideally it would read receipts and track price changes image

I had an eye opening day yesterday. My partner put some cash in her bank, bank A. I then sent a smaller amount of money from my bank to another of her banks, bank B. She then proceeded to try and send some money from her bank A to a close friend of ours. The TX was blocked and she was told to call her bank. On the phone she was asked a tonne of security questions followed by questions such as “are you try to send a tx of X amount”, “who is the receiver”, “why are you sending it” tho which she answered as a gift. They asked again, “why is she sending a gift”. They proceeded to cancel the TX and freeze the funds in her account until she went in store. She went in store and was bombarded with more questions, who is she sending it to blah blah blah. They even asked for the receivers details. At this point I let her know that she wasn’t obligated to answer. The next question from the bank teller shocked me. “I can also see that you received a payment from XXX person (me) to your other bank, B”. So bank A knew that I had sent money to bank B. 2 totally separate banks. Or so I thought. Anyway, the TX finally went through. But we lost half a day at the bank.

There are two types of people. There are the people who want to be told what to think and how to act. They want the world to be constructed for them. Then there are the people who want to think for themselves and to act on their own volition. They want to construct their own world.

The prices we pay for things in the west are INSANE. My dad spends the majority of the year in Thailand. He was forced to retire young and so he has a smaller pension pot than most. Anyway, he finds that his money goes a lot further in Thailand than it does in the UK. Combine that with the weather, the food and the general happy atmosphere surrounding the Thai people and it’s a no brainer for him. With regards to the money situation.. For instance, he bought a brand new Honda wave for £1,100 which he’s been using for a couple of years now. Anyway, he got a puncture one time and he pulled up in the nearest garage (about 8pm). The Thai mechanic continued to spend the next 30 minutes fixing the puncture in the tyre and then he asked for payment, which equates to £3.75. Compare that that me. I got a puncture in my pickup the other day (happens a lot to roofers because the amount of nails used in roofing). So I took my truck to the garage, and the mechanics spent then next 30 mins fixing my puncture. I get the bill. £45. FOURTY FIVE POUNDS.
