Start at 6:50 and remember this is 1999.
Thanks @Peter McCormack and @Danny Knowles for bringing this to my attention.

Observe. Question. Hypothesize. Experiment. Analyze. Conclude. Repeat.
It is worth reading Brandon Quittem's "Bitcoin is a Pioneer Species" and John Arnold's "Bitcoin Is Eating The World" in succession. I suspect both will be considered quite prophetic one day.
“After planting roots in a virgin ecosystem, the pioneer species slowly transforms their surroundings, making conditions suitable for more complex organisms to join the party. Before long, this once barren wasteland becomes an oasis of life.”
”…providing instant settlement of borderless bearer value is a unique and unprecedented phenomenon with derivative implications for every industry, and it will inexorably pull businesses that currently have nothing to do with bitcoin into bitcoin’s orbit.”

Bitcoin is Eating the World
An Investor's Case for the Biggest TAM on Earth.
BTC164 is worth the listen regardless of the industry. Business leaders should be challenged to the thought exploration for financing their operations and understand what a bitcoin strategy looks like today regardless of if now is the appropriate time for their organization to act or not. Question would be how are organizations like 1West approaching custody? @preston any insight?

Regarding bitcoin, nostr, and the evolution of “freedom tech”:
The us versus them narrative is entertaining but not as effective as the education that comes from questioning the status quo and how such developed. Not all will arrive at the same answers but listening to all sides and formulating one’s own opinion is important. Those who are helping facilitate this thought exploration, such as @Peter McCormack with What Bitcoin Did, @preston’s Wednesday releases of Bitcoin Fundaments on the podcast We Study Billionaires, @gladstein’s Check Your Financial Privilege, @cjasonmaier’s A Progressive Case for Bitcoin, Nik Bhatia’s Layered Money, @Lyn Alden’s Broken Money, @Saifedean Ammous’s The Bitcoin Standard and the multiple resources from @ODELL and @Marty Bent are invaluable.
People will arrive on their own time. These resources, among many others, are far superior than talking suits, rugs, blue checks, shitcoins, or price alone.
As Rachel Geyer stated on WBD757, "make sure that the person who is sitting at the table speaks the same language as the person opposite so that you open that door so that you can walk this idea in."
People will make mistakes. People will learn. Education is critical.
Education is the most effective catalyst for change.
