I'm not going to defend coinkite. But nobody had a gun to anybody's head. Alot of cold card users mocked Trezor users for not being airgapped over the years. Coinkite took trezor's code (pioneers of hardware wallets) and introduced a bug, then closed sourced it, and brainwashed you to think you're the best for using their garbage. A lot of maxis got burnt for the arrogance and not doing their own research, instead they just "trusted the science".
