I would just love to see Donald the Zionist Cuck fall into this mouse trap. Looks like his dumb ass is going to..... Kremlin weighs in on rising US-Venezuela tensions Moscow urges restraint to prevent “unforeseen developments,” presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said Escalating tensions between the United States and Venezuela carry serious risks and could lead to “unforeseen developments,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday. The warning came after US President Donald Trump intensified pressure on Caracas by announcing an expansion of a partial naval blockade aimed at halting Venezuelan crude exports. The authorities in the Latin American nation, where Washington does not recognize the government, have expressed defiance. “Of course, we are calling on all countries in the region to exercise restraint in order to avoid any unforeseen development of the situation,” Peskov said, adding that Russia considers Venezuela an important partner. Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry urged the Trump administration to adhere to a “rational and pragmatic approach,” cautioning that missteps could amount to a “fatal mistake” and further inflame the situation. China has voiced similar concerns. Beijing’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said the People’s Republic opposes “all acts of unilateralism and bullying” and supports Venezuela’s sovereign right to “independently develop mutually beneficial cooperation with other countries.” Trump has highlighted the US naval buildup near Venezuela, claiming the country is “completely surrounded by the largest armada ever assembled in the history of South America,” while demanding that Caracas return “all of the oil, land, and other assets that they previously stole from us.” Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro accused Washington of attempting to “impose a puppet government” that would surrender the country’s sovereignty and resources, effectively turning it into a colony. He pledged to prevent such an outcome and condemned US pressure tactics as “barbarism.”

German chancellor with Nazi family past likens Putin to Hitler Friedrich Merz’s grandfather was a politician in the Third Reich German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, whose grandfather was a member of the Nazi Party, has compared Russian President Vladimir Putin to Adolf Hitler. Merz’s maternal grandfather, Josef Paul Sauvigny, served as mayor of Brilon in what is now North Rhine-Westphalia from 1917 to 1937. Initially a member of the conservative Center Party, Sauvigny joined Hitler’s NSDAP after the Nazis came to power in the early 1930s. Speaking at a Christian Democratic Union conference in Munich on Sunday, Merz accused Putin of seeking to restore the borders of the Soviet Union. “If Ukraine falls, he won’t stop. Just as the Sudetenland was not enough (for Hitler) in 1938, Putin will not stop either,” Merz said, referring to the moment when Britain and France allowed Nazi Germany to annex parts of Czechoslovakia. Putin has repeatedly said that Russia would not attack NATO unless attacked first. He has also stressed the need to combat historical revisionism, particularly attempts to deny or belittle the Soviet Union’s decisive role in defeating Nazi Germany in World War II. The USSR lost around 27 million people in the war, including Putin’s older brother, who died during the blockade of Leningrad. Speaking on Victory Day in Moscow in 2023, Putin warned about the spread of supremacist ideologies and said that “Western globalist elites” were “inciting hatred, Russophobia, and aggressive nationalism.” Putin has argued that NATO expansion and the West’s growing military ties with Ukraine were among the key causes of the current conflict. Last month, he accused Western countries of seeking to “dismember” Russia and strip it of its sovereignty.
