I think of myself as mostly retarded. Maybe just slightly above average retarded. I’m as smart or more dumb than Luke Wilson’s character in Idiocracy. What’s crazy to me is that I have met even more retarded people than myself, who subscribe to the Right or Left dichotomy of the political spectrum. I’ve been a centrist for as long as I can remember and poke holes in the layer of retardation beset upon both sides. Anecdotally, in the last few years, when presented with facts, those on the Right were generally more susceptible to changing their minds (except for the QAnon dumbfucks). The Left would, unfortunately, double-down on their retardation and have the gall to think they’re not only right/justified but morally superior. Now, I see this same sentiment sweeping the Right. Both groups incapable of making their own decisions and doubling down on their emotionally charged beliefs, while excommunicating those who disagree. Fuck, we’re in for a wild ride ahead with the smoothest of smooth brains imaginable. How do we come back from such polarization?!
