If your Pi-Hole blocks or rate-limits your device while connecting to Damus (because of many simultaneous DNS requests in a short burst) change the rate limit in Pi-Hole > DNS settings from 1000 per 60 sec to a higher value. Also, create a config with higher DNSMasq concurrent forwards by following this guide
