Need to ponder mining pool features that are useful and not widely used.
Off the top of my head:
1. coinbase address rotation
2. Novel payout schemas (1/3 to winning miner, etc.)
3. No pool signature in coinbase
4. No fee (monthly subscription based with enough to sustain ops)

Starting to think mining pools will only survive as non-profit with annual subscription or something.
Template distribution is cute. But mining won't decentralize until coinbase payouts decentralize more and we stop mushroom stamping blocks with vanity marketing (coinbase pool signatures).
