Converting into Bitcoin and moving to Robinhood and then converting to USD costs me about 40$ for 2200$ in USD that I plan to move. It makes sense to do that when I need money urgently somewhere as the price to instantly move USD to my bank account is 150$ that's charged by strike. Robinhood can eat the cost of instant transfer from bank to Robinhood. I'd end up paying 150$ if I went USD route. So I can personally conclude that in this scenario, the price I needed to pay for about 4 days of waiting(the money will show up in my bank account before it's settled and can be moved to Robinhood to be used immediately) is 40$ vs 150$ in USD transfers. Now that I don't need that money urgently, I chose to do it for free instead. If only Robinhood allowed lightning, it'd have been much cheaper.
