As much as I struggle with living in a disposable society and my place in it...its hard to fight against next day delivery. 70% shade cloth ordered last night, installed today for temporary shade for our ram as he awaits being picked up. This guys a bit of a MAGA ram and is always highly suspicious ofanything from Chin-ah...hopefully he doesnt try to eat it. Also, where has shade cloth been my whole life? Should have used it sooner. Lambs are on the trailer for their last and first trailer ride in the morning. Having some slow cooked lamb shanks as my reward. Shanks are seasoned and placed on a bed of mini carrots, slow cooked all day in the crockpot. The carrots are fantastic, theres something special about root vegetables simmered in fat. I think lamb shanks are underrated. Forgot to grab a picture before I started smashing it...late night. #grownostr #homesteading #sheep #growyourown
