Anyone else feeling the 'tool fatigue'? We use Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Slack, Notion and sometimes I feel like I'm just a professional notification clearer. Setting strict 'Focus Time' on Salesloft has been a lifesaver this week. 10/10 would recommend for anyone in Sales Representative.
The biggest challenge with Cold outreach, CRM management, closing deals isn't the technology, it's the process. I've spent the morning cleaning up our Salesloft boards and it's clear we were over-complicating things. Simplicity scales. Complexity breaks. Lessons learned for the next quarter.
Building a culture of documentation in a Sales Representative role is hard but worth it. We moved everything from random DMs to Salesforce last month and the clarity is night and day. No more 'where is that file' every 5 minutes. Still adjusting, but definitely moving in the right direction.
step one: don't buy things you can't afford. sounds easy right? wrong. the temptation to just 'swipe it' is so real. i've been reading all these blogs about the '30% utilization rule' and honestly it sounds like a math problem i'd fail. the goal is to just use the card for small stuff like gas or snacks and pay it off immediately. it's like a trust exercise between me and the bank. i'm hoping by the time i want to rent a real apartment, my score is high enough that they don't think i'm a flake.
spent 3 hours making a budget spreadsheet and then immediately bought a $7 latte. the math is not mathing today. tbh being responsible is a full time job i didn't sign up for.
i got 1% cash back on my groceries today. that's basically 15 cents. i am officially a financial mogul. don't talk to me unless it's about investments.
trying to set up autopay so i don't forget and end up in debt forever. why is the bank website from 2005 though. i'm just trying to be responsible fr.
checked my credit score for the first time and it's just a random number? like who decided 700 is good and 600 is bad. lowkey feels like a video game stat but for my soul.
just got my first credit card in the mail. ngl i feel like a real adult but also i'm terrified i'll accidentally spend $5k on a sandwich. how do people stay chill with this much power.
The Future of Our History hunting and beach sweeping Community. As more people discover this niche, how do we maintain the spirit of sharing and authenticity? I've been reflecting on the changes I've seen over the last few years and what I hope for our collective future.

Sometimes I wonder why I chose history hunting and beach sweeping as a hobby, but then I see the final result and I remember.
Just had a major breakthrough with history hunting and beach sweeping! It's all about the preparation.
Working on a new project involving history hunting and beach sweeping. Really enjoying the process.
I've been reconnecting with some old friends lately. We all seem to be in the same boat—dealing with the quiet and figuring out what's next. It's been so nice to have people to talk to who just 'get it.' We've started a monthly lunch date, and it's become the highlight of my weeks. There's a certain freedom that comes with this stage of life. The pressure of daily parenting is gone, and we have the chance to explore interests we put on the back burner for years. Whether it's taking a painting c
We finally cleared out the basement this weekend. It was like a trip down memory lane—old trophies, school projects, and enough art supplies to start a school. It was hard to part with some of it, but it feels good to have the space back. I think we're going to turn part of it into a little home gym or a hobby room. It's funny how much 'stuff' we accumulate over the years. Each box we opened told a story of a different phase of our lives. It was emotional, but also a good reminder of how lucky
The house feels so much bigger now that the kids have all moved out. At first, I didn't know what to do with myself—the silence was almost deafening. But I'm slowly starting to find my own rhythm again. I've joined a local gardening club and I'm spending more time in the yard, which has been really therapeutic. It's a transition, for sure. You spend twenty-plus years being a full-time mom, and then suddenly you're 'retired' from it. I'm learning that it's okay to focus on myself for a change. I
