Want to see wider adoption so Bitcoin can be used as digital cash and not just an investment vehicle.

I appreciate the feedback from everyone who responded about a biz being a sysadmin for people's personal instances of $whatever open source software.
I got a lot of pointers to projecrs, some of which are similar and some which have different perspectives.
I also heard the idea that if someone is getting into self-hosting, they probably won't want someone else to host nor even administer their servers. I feel like that can help with marketing. For the people who really want to do everything themselves, they can use the playbooks my buddy will publish. Happy to join forces with them and accept quality contributions too. If they ever get tired of being a part time sysadmin, they'll know who to turn it over to.
It remains to be seen if I can convince him to give self-employment a try, and if he does, whether he is a good enough salesman to get any clients. He's pretty risk averse and has a stable job, but maybe the freedom will be enough to entice him.
Based on the numbers on 8marketcap, if #bitcoin doubled in price, it'd be more valuable than any single company (assuming they don't go up by *too* much) and still less than ¼ the market cap of gold.

🤔 Going out of band is cringe. Manually copying and pasting is cumbersome. Using additional software has a lot of friction.
What to do...
I think you need a picture of some clouds in your timeline. Here's one I took the other day.

License: CC0I know someone thinking about running open source services for people as a business.
Do you know anyone who would be willing to pay to have someone set up & manage a Nextcloud server, Jitsi, Matrix, ActivityPub, GitLab, Jellyfin, OpenVPN, BTC/LND, or any other service?
Or have "free" services like GSuite, Zoom, and the rest made this business model impossible.
Would love to hear people's thoughts on this. It seems like something the world needs, but not sure if the economics work in these times.
vi is such an awesom text editor, it has its own flag!

This sticker had a good run. 🪦
And yes, I tried to scan it anyway, but this is more damage than even QR error correction can handle.
I think the person who put this up will put it on the top of the rail if they ever get stickers again.

I am the custodian.
Payment worked on the first try. Much better experience than last month when I tried 4 times and finally ended up successfully paying with coinos via their web interface.

I think the movie Independence Day was a great film.

What's going on with your website? I tried to renew my subscription at https://batcoinz.com/p/bitcoin-plans but that's gone as is any mention of how to subscribe.
I appreciate that it niw seems to work with Tor, but with the contact page saying "example.com" on it, I have to suspect something is wrong
