As you watch the videos of devastation flood in from Jamaica, keep in mind that we know how to prevent storms like this. Super hurricanes are caused by anthropogenic climate change. The effects were hidden for a century because we were unintentionally geoengineering the planet by burning high-sulfur diesel in our shipping vessels. Then we stopped in 2020 "for the environment". We created this problem and we can solve it. All that is required is the collective will to act. We need to stop being cowards and start intentionally geoengineering the environment. It's really that simple. If you want the devastation to stop, start making noise.
