My FIL cooked beef tallow fries yesterday. They were good!
Memory unlocked: this is what McDonald's used to smell like. You know...back then the fries were good.

I used this chart in my talk on a layered mining pool stack at btc++ earlier this year. It wasn't long after the talk that I realized I had totally misread the market. I think the lower right corner will be the most popular configuration, at least early on when the tech is still maturing.
These days I think of it as the degen corner. This is where the gamblers will flock. It's simplicity of design makes it a high priority for development.

My son decorated a toilet paper tube and asked me what to name it. I suggested Shakespeare but he wanted to call it Tubey.
In other words his choice is either Tubey or not Tubey.
My whole house smells like a sewer and it's giving me a headache. I was up all night trying to find the least stinky room to sleep in. I can't open the windows because it's too hot. I can't leave because I'm waiting for the plumber. 😩

BTW Peter Van Valkenburgh introduced me to George Selgin, Larry White, and free banking. Peter is wicked smart. AFAICT he originated the anti-seed oil movement on twitter.
He is the director of Coin Center, which is the most high signal and effective US lobbying organization protecting the constitutional rights of the crypto industry, shitcoiners and bitcoiners alike.
Give him a follow on twitter:
Ask him if he has a nostr account. 😉
