16th note: GM and Happy Monday! A little throwback today — ⭐️Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star ✨ I recorded this while busking last week…. This version of the song has the main tune followed by an “obligato” variation — the cool part is that the two parts can be played together like a duet 🎻🎶 I used to play it this way with my mom when I was a kid, but I’ve hardly played it since then! 15th note: 🎶 My brother’s visiting and we always end up jamming when we’re together. He’s on guitar here, just off camera, I’m on violin — this one’s about 2 minutes long. I love how you can hear us searching at the start, then landing on something really beautiful and groovy together, then searching again … and then it ends in a funny way. I love improvising with my brother, it’s such a cool way that we’ve connected over the years. 13th note: 🎻 GM all. This is what violin practise looks like #proofofwork Having some fun learning @Delta Kid ‘s bluesy lick from last week. It works well on violin but I had to make some slight adjustments to accommodate the missing lower octave, i.e. the guitar can go lower. I still want to get it a little faster and more fluid. I’ll also transpose it into all 12 keys. The end goal is to be able to improvise with it freely in any key — to completely integrate it, body and mind, so I no longer have to think about it. Practise continues to be essential. What are you working on?? #musicnostr

Yesterday’s zap-game post was a little quieter than last week, and that’s totally fine, I’m just getting this tradition off the ground.
