Going from a nostr-frustrated pleb to nostr-curious to now a nostr amateur over the last couple of years, I really feel like the bottom is in (in terms of overall influence) and there is going to be a huge explosion upwards from here. Many reasons for this, but most of them center around the idea that users and developers can be creative with it on a level that you cannot with other permissioned socials and protocols. AI is going to allow people to ship crazy nostr stuff coming up. The biggest threat IMO will be the deluge of garbage that also comes with the AI. We'll have to harden how nostr works to keep the signal separate from the noise. Onward and upward.

Anyone else getting a bunch of fake new followers? Are the bots flooding to nostr and are we now all fucked?
