I’m finally approaching 500 followers on Bluesky. And I didn’t even have to buy a single one. This whole social media bingo card thing was so unnecessary. It’s just too bad government didn’t build Twitter. It would have been more open, accountable, and always evolving. Sure worked for the Internet.

One of the most destructive ideas in the last 50 years was this notion that everyone should have the right to speak as they wish, even in private venues. That “free speech” was some kind of entitlement card you could swipe anywhere and get a pass on whatever bullshit you wanted to spew.

I’m reached the end of the streaming Internet again. I may have to start watching those zombie movies that are made just to be distributed to foreign markets. It’s that bad. I am open to suggestions.

Zounds! A Chrome upgrade that actually matters. Finally, search marks from the sidebar. That only took 15 f-ing years. image

Good morning. Well, more or less, anyway. I mean Kevin McCarthy is giving Jim Jordan a verbal blow job on the House floor. It’s good in the same way that candy laced with razor blades tastes good.

The Evil Geniuses who sold free enterprise and competition as the most important national goals a people could have, are sure going to have some explaining to do when we fight a war with China and it becomes painfully clear that far too many of the moving parts of our mighty military are now made in China, often by the same oligarchs assembling them in the USA and making crazy amounts of money on the flip. Once again, you couldn’t write a movie script this unbelievable. But here we are.

When I said yesterday that the cruelty of this evacuation was that they “had nowhere else to go” I assumed many people knew the simple reality: that Palestinians are about as welcome in most of the Arab world as fire ants are at a picnic. That’s been the open secret of the whole issue for over two generations now. Nobody ever wants to talk about it. But there it is.

From the roach-infested mind of the hideous asshole who brought us the “critical race theory” hysteria. image

“The fog of war” is a well worn metaphor. We need a new short saying to describe the “fog of social media bullshit.”

I said when this started that Israel would overreact. But it’s been much worse than I thought it would be. 6,000 bombs in 5 days? That’s Putin level death and destruction. But he did it a long way from his own home. These Israeli generals and their families don’t live very far from the ruins that they’ve just made into the biggest incubator of terrorism anywhere. Just incredibly stupid. And most of them probably know it. image

I can’t speak for you, but I am so tired of being forced to see the world through the completely average eyes of ex-Bush stooge, Nicole Wallace. There’s a limit to my tolerance for endless handwringing posturing as critical analysis. It’s been years of this shit. I am just fed up with it.

Any “news” organization that doesn’t run this story should be shut down or burned to the ground. I am so sick of a multi trillion dollar “news” industry that never publishes much news. I’m even sicker of the American Left just treating the media as an minor annoyance, rather a major reason fascism is a ascendant around the world. Source: @npub1d0sp...egda image

This an example of why I just love the fediverse. I ask questions and get answers. I am still waiting for answers to questions asked on Xitter a decade ago. As for Bluesky, nothing. Even low hanging political questions get ignored routinely. It has all the community feel of a morgue’s waiting room. image
