Hi I am Andrew B. White the author of the book "Bitcoindollar: the dawn of American hegemony in the digital era". I will share here insights about the topics treated in the book.
Dubai influencers warned not to post images showing war effects because it is already damaging the safe haven status of the Emirates image Anyway, why do you need Dubai or any other "safe haven" for your money when you can have #bitcoin in self-custody and go wherever it is safer with no counterparty and no geopolitical risks?
The YouTube bitcoin haters were out viciously attacking both @nat brunell and @Michael Saylor . Here is my take on her latest interview with Saylor — and what the reactions reveal about the people’s lack of critical thinking and how this is related to bitcoin’s adoption path. The interview has also triggered some thoughts on the respective positions of Saylor and @Simon Dixon and their two differing views on adoption paths: Bottom-up sovereignty vs top-down capital flows. Self-custody vs financialization. Elite within the elite vs Wall Street scale. Who’s right, who’s wrong? Both matter. One show I would truly like to see? One between Saylor and Dixon on adoption paths—maybe jointly moderated by Natalie Brunell and @Efrat Fenigson ??😉
Another US regime change operation in Venezuela mirrors the 1990s Noriega capture but marks a new geopolitical shift. Trump seems set to push his version of the Monroe Doctrine, raising questions: Did the US, China, and Russia agree to let Venezuela fall back into US hands? If so, what’s the price? Will China assert its influence in Southeast Asia, and will Russia escalate in Eastern Europe while the US turns a blind eye? If no agreement, what’s their reprisal? This weakens China and Russia, who allowed the loss of Venezuela – a key energy partner – and leave Iran alone against a coming aggression. With BRICS not standing together against American aggression the project may collapse. Or, will this spark more global resistance to US aggression and rally support for a non-colonial BRICS? Time will tell. Regardless, this operation both legitimizes and deepens the risk of Russian escalation in Europe, strengthening Russia’s resolve to end the Ukraine operation and target NATO/EU decision centers and arms suppliers. This is my analysis of the incentives shaping the Russia vs Ukraine/NATO/EU conflict. https://www.bitcoindollar.net/post/europe-on-the-brink-of-war #venezuela #maduro #russia #china #eu #usa #monroedoctrine #incentives #war #ukraine #nato #geopolitics #bitcoindollar #bitcoin
24 years after the biggest “terrorist” event in human history, Tucker Carlson uncovers some of the lies told to the Americans in a 5 episode documentary film titled the “9/11 files” https://tuckercarlson.com/the-9-11-files-episode-1 Coincidentally, the documentary film was due for release on Sept. 11 but it was postponed because of Kirch’s assassination. It was also released with much less fanfare and without Kirch’s anticipated participation and his media support. image
As described in my #bitcoindollar book - Chapter 34., “Bitcoin emerging as the perfect collateral and its impact on banking, lending, consumer credit, and real estate” - the legacy financial system is only starting to grasp the huge potential of #bitcoin as the perfect collateral, which will also – as a consequence in the long term – both de-monetize real estate as a store of value and drastically reduce the use of real estate as a collateral in the legacy financial system. The latest news is the US Federal Housing Finance Agency ordering Fannie Mae and Fannie Mac to consider the use of “crypto” (in the end only #bitcoin is the perfectly viable collateral but they cannot say that) as a collateral. See the relevant excerpt from my book below with the US FHFA order.
