As many of you know, I'm a father of 5 (4 boys followed by 1 girl, between the ages of 9 and 16), but I'd like to announce that we have 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 bitcoiner on the way! 🤯 And we're having 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 boy! 🎉 I've actually known since mid-July that we had a baby on the way, but wanted to wait to tell anyone until we knew whether we're going to have a boy or a girl. My wife and I weren't able to take the time to find out until yesterday, though. Our son is due to be born around block 825350, so watch for an announcement from me of his birth around that block (our other kids tended to be born early, so it'll likely be before then). There are 2 kinds of people in the world: Value Makers and Value Takers. Value Takers are nothing new, and the always be those who are parasitically-minded will always exist. BIPs 300 and 301 are a sign that these parasites are in the "Bargaining" stage of grief. They can no longer Deny that the only viable way to grow their wealth is by providing value to others in exchange for #Bitcoin. All their Anger-fueled attempts to slow down, destroy, or replace Bitcoin have failed, so they're trying a new tactic for Taking. As the saying goes: "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em ... and 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 beat 'em." This tactic will also fail, which will take them to the next stage of grief: Depression. I'm looking forward to it.

My daughter started writing in her new diary today. She just told me that these are the words she started it with: "Hello, Diary. My name is ____. I am 9 years old. Right now is Saturday, and it's 3:40PM. The Bitcoin block height is 806922." I'm so proud. 🥹

How To Build Your Own Bitcoin Language Model

On the mission to build a more “based” language model.

My wife and I went out to eat for our wedding anniversary today, and I offered to tip our waitress with bitcoin. She ended up declining, but not before first staring at me blankly, and saying that she didn't even know what Bitcoin was. We're still so early, and we still have so much work to do.
