Looks like it’ll be tomorrow when I publish the DHP USS Liberty episode. I’ve got a few more little segments left to record & edit tomorrow morning, but most of it’s done.

Yesterday I busted my ass recording & editing some more segments for my Dangerous History episode about the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty in 1967, & I’m back at it today.
It’s gonna be an epic dose of hazardous history! Stay tuned/coming soon!

I was *hoping* to have my Dangerous History episode about the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty done yesterday; but as big as it’s gotten, now if I’m lucky & keep working myself to death, I might get it done tomorrow.
It’s gonna be a YUUUUGE dose of historical MALinformation!

Today I just recorded the first segment of a DHP episode I've been quietly working my ass off on in recent weeks. I've said almost nothing about this publicly, other than maybe a very vague tweet or two.
The topic is this: The Israeli attack on the USS Liberty on June 8th, 1967.
This is a topic I've intended to cover on the DHP eventually at some point. But with the Israeli-American conflict with Iran, & then Trump's complete 180 on the Jeffery Epstein scandal, I felt compelled to set aside a lot of other things I was working on to push the Liberty story to the front of the queue.
This story is infuriating & largely unknown to Americans today. Over the course of several hours, Israeli planes & torpedo bots attacked an American ship in international waters, killing 34 Americans & wounding 171, & nearly sinking the ship. Even though the Liberty was flying an American flag & had identifying marks prominently visible on its hull, the Israeli government claimed it was a tragic mistake, & the US government largely let them get away with it, one example of many that the US-Israeli "alliance" is actually only one-way in terms of costs vs. benefits.
I'm working as hard as I can to try to get the Liberty DHP episode done by Monday. I think I can do it, but it'll be a pretty big episode. (My notes for it are 27 pages & I'm still adding to them here & there even though I've started recording, which is par for the course for me.)

Scarlett Johanssnake is enjoying her new, larger enclosure. She’s a big girl for a 🌽 🐍.

In case you missed it, yesterday I published DHP Ep. 280: "Don’t Be Neo-Neoconned!", a heaping helping of hazardous historical malinformation regarding the Dave Smith-Douglas Murray kerfuffle.
Check it out! 👇🏻

I guess that means there’s still hope for a beyond-broke 43-year-old podcaster who’s gone through multiple personal & family disasters & dark nights of the soul over the past 5 years. 💪🏻 👍🏻

To celebrate 4/20, I've reissued (for a limited time) Dangerous History Ep. 184, which is a talk I gave in 2019 - a live DHP Villains feature on Harry Anslinger, the man most responsible for the US government's war on cannabis.

Happy REAL declaration of independence day! 250 years ago, on 4/19/1775, thousands of average Americans, acting on their own local initiative, confronted the Redcoats & declared their independence with blood & bullets. (The fancy powdered-wig guys in Philly would take almost 15 months to catch up & declare it with ink & parchment.)
To commemorate, I've just reissued Dangerous History Ep. 59 (made a decade ago!), which is part II of my American Revolution series.

In case you missed it, yesterday I dropped a new DHP Woodrow Wilson episode.
In this one, he makes the most important & worst decision of his life, a decision that’s still negatively impacting the US & much of the rest of the world to this day: getting the US into WW1.

I just dropped Dangerous History Podcast Ep. 278: DHP Villains: Woodrow Wilson Pt.14 -- in this plus-sized episode, he gets us into war. Grab it while it's hot & fresh!

My art for the next DHP Wilson episode- should be out in next day or two!

Almost all of the next (XXL-sized) Woodrow Wilson episode of Dangerous History is recorded, & I've also edited a good chunk of what I've recorded so far. Fingers crossed that I'll be able to get it all done & published during the first half of the coming week. 🤞

“To whom does war bring prosperity? Not to the soldier who ... shoulders his musket and goes into the trench, there to shed his blood and to die if necessary; not to the brokenhearted widow who waits for the return of the mangled body of her husband; not to the mother who weeps at the death of her brave boy; not to the little children who shiver with cold; not to the babe who suffers from hunger; nor to the millions of mothers and daughters who carry broken hearts to their graves. War brings no prosperity to the great mass of common and patriotic citizens... War brings prosperity to the stock gambler on Wall Street--to those who are already in possession of more wealth than can be realized or enjoyed."
-Sen. George Norris (R-NE), speaking against the US getting into WWI, Apr. 4th, 1917
In honor of the recent reversion in most of the US back to The Devil's Time (so-called "Daylight Savings"), I reissued DHP Ep. 198, "Fµ©!≤ Daylight Savings!" (from all the way back in 2020!), for a limited time on the public feed. Check it out!

In case anyone is wondering why the next Woodrow Wilson episode isn’t out yet, the answer is that I’ve been battling an eye infection that has made it very difficult to do things like read & work on my computer. I’ve been on antibiotics for a couple days now & hopefully in another couple days I’ll be doing a lot better.
The fun never ends. 🤦♂️
