Please help me with this issue and I can pay sats for your time: ## Native git commands failing with git-remote-nostr I was able to make ngit work and the SatShoot repo was pushed to Gitworkshop.dev. However, when I try to use git fetch or push or clone native commands with the remote that is configured with the nostr:// URL, git complains with "git: 'remote-nostr' is not a git command. See 'git --help'. " error message. Other details: - I installed ngit and git-remote-nostr with cargo and they are recognized on $PATH - I am using a nix devshell setup with the 'GIT_REMOTE_HELPERS' env variable exported correctly with the 'nostr' string added next to other built-in transfer protocols. What could be wrong and how to make this work? Hey @DanConwayDev I am trying to submit [SatShoot](https://SatShoot.com) to @fiatjaf 's nostrapps.com project via #ngit. I installed ngit and cloned the repo with fiatjaf's https URL but then set the remote url to nostr://[repo-details] . Then created my new pr branch and committed my app's details. The problem is when I try to submit the PR with 'ngit send'. You most likely are not using the relay defined in the repo's 30617 event (wss://git.fiatjaf.com) and the result is: 'Error, no repo events at specified coordinates' . I am basing this on the fact that I see the relays it tries to fetch the repo event from and neither of them is the correct one. I am not entirely sure I do everything right but this seems to be the problem. Can you help me out here? After this I want to push SatShoot with ngit as well. #asknostr

Nostr will be the most effective way to discover #nokyc services on the internet. A universal online identity with your social network across apps means that you won't need ineffective legacy ways to establish trust between eath other online with your service provider. #Kyc is trust coming from the government. Fiat businesses will continue complying and doubling down on it. They will betray their customers to keep themselves alive however short time they have left. Because governments don't care about their enslaved subjects. They exploit them for user data and taxes then throw them away. Nostr-based #WoT and reputation systems is the better way. Nostr makes the "restaurant model" a reality: You sit down, eat, pay and leave. No questions asked about what's your name, home address or social security number. This would sound insane right? That's what most businesses do and what the government tries to push and normalize. If you are running a KYC business you are an accomplice to this global-scale spying on people. Period. My dream is to make the truly free market available by careful design with freedom technologies. I think that for digital services the time has already come because there is much less friction delivering value online. This is why I built [SatShoot](https://satshoot.com) . A FOSS project that makes #freelancing services possible on nostr. I am done with the MVP but there is so much more work to be done. I will post content on how to use it and what I had in mind while I was designing SatShoot. Consider trying it. I am looking for honest feedback the most right now.

Value is subjective but money is a powerful abstraction people use to simplify the mental burden and try to come to consensus on value in markets. I believe the same is true of the relationship between trust and identity. Trust is subjective but we use identities (real-world as well as online) to be able to look at a person from a certain perspective. This abstraction of the person makes assigning trust simpler because we can now talk about that person in a specific context between each other. Money and identity are necessary to create an effective society. In the information age we recognized the power of digitized money and identity. But since digitization is yet another layer abstraction it is hard NOT to get too far from the real world with digital money and identity. I believe #bitcoin and #nostr make the right trade-offs mimicking human nature as much as possible. They are open protocols which makes global consensus possible but the distributed nature creates room for different flavors: Bitcoin and Lightning make effective free banking possible with #ecash . The different mints will implement different designs and policies attractive to different groups of people. Nostr clients will use the NIPs they want and are also able to introduce new ones but they all must adhere to the basic architecture: Signed data relayed. Nostr also lets npubs gather reputation in different contexts because you can use the same npub in all nostr apps. Which ecash mints or nostr clients are winning is always up to people to decide. But I believe we have the right concepts for an effective society for the information age.
