I am at a crossroad in my life and career
Previously when i was having a tough time, I received large amount of donations here. I didnt know who or from where those donation came from. But those donations have helped me to pay my wife medical bills and buy the medicine she needs.
Just like you to know she has recovered well.
I am better now financially, and I would like to thanks those kind donators for your kind help
After my housemanship training, I was in the public health training path.
I was later employed as a trainee lecturer.
However, halfway through my training, I was not able to secure a scholarship for my PhD (DrPH) . So I ended up resigning (on a bad take)
I wonder how many occupational health doctor are here?

We often emphasize principles, but in reality, it's practicality that often makes things work. Unfortunately, many people overlook this.
Take Nostr for instance. The protocol is great, but it’s the user-friendly clients like Primal that make it usable in practice.
Likewise, Linux is powerful, but it’s practical implementations like ChromeOS (a tight integration of hardware and software) or Mint Linux (a well-packaged OS) that make it accessible to most users.
However, practicality often comes with trade-offs, and that’s something many people struggle to accept.
I really like Syncthing. It is a serverless way of handling sync for documents on multiple device.
So basically my work PC is a Windows device where I keep all of my clinic medical record. But I conduct spirometry exam (a lung test) on my persona linux laptop. It is a hassle to continously copy and paste all the spirometry result to my work PC.
With Syncthing they folders are sync between the two device in real time, without a centralized server!
You can setup different sync configuration for different device. like my PC has a work folder and a personal folder. my work folder sync with my work folder on my work pc and my android phone has a personal folder which sync to my personal folder on my laptop.
Pretty cool!
