Just helped my little sister with her first #Bitcoin purchase! She needed me to facilitate a payment to her as a middle man and so I made her download CashApp. We got the referral bonus (I got $10, she got $5) and I made her convert it to Bitcoin right away & told her I’ll send her $5 in the future if she ever needs it and not to touch that Bitcoin, just forget it’s even there! She’s nowhere close to the cold storage and/or self custody discussion yet, she’s still young and doesn’t even understand our economy/fiat, much less Bitcoin, but baby steps! According to @npub1pwz3...tdyp thesis, that purchase alone (17,135 Sats) will ensure she’s set in the future if/when we enter The Bitcoin Standard.. either way she’ll be thanking me one day!! #Proud #BitcoinNostr
