The only reason corporate media is finally capitulating is because we as a society have outlets like twitter (imperfect as they may be). These outlets, though still centrally controlled, still have leaks that can’t be plugged fast enough (thank God). If COVID happened in 1999, would our collective human consciousness have been able to get ahead of the narrative and see what’s really happening? Would we have had the tools to question the official narrative? I don’t think so. If nostr was around at the time of JFK, 9/11, the Iraq war, how might that have changed history?
