This book should absolutely be read by Bitcoiners. I criticized it earlier for not once including the word Bitcoin in it, and I stand by that criticism. But it’s still an important read for us.
This book, man.
I’m only 24 pages in and I’m already connecting so many dots.
The last line of this whole paragraph will make sense to most, if not all, bitcoiners. #bookster
#G20 on Amazon Prime is wild.
It’s a pro-global CBDC, anti-Bitcoin action movie which supposes you can solve world hunger by adopting the global CBDC. And the arguments against doing so (surveillance, control, etc.) are explicitly put in the mouth of the terrorist bad guy. No joke.
If Hollywood can make this movie with a straight face, we’ve got our work cut out for us.
If Donald Trump’s goal was to become The Bitcoin President by single-handedly inducing The Fed to engage in the mother of all prints sending bitcoin to the moon much sooner than would have otherwise happened he’s doing well! He should keep at it!
In a world where we have destroyed the trust our allies placed in us, a global trustless money with no trusted third parties that can settled in minutes becomes more valuable not less valuable. In this way, I guess Trump was the #Bitcoin president.
So these 🤡s tariffed the Territory of Heard Island and McDonald Islands, a group of uninhabited islands, and the British Indian Ocean Territory whose entire population consists of people who work on our own military base (on the island Diego Garcia).
These 🤡s are in control of the second largest nuclear weapons stockpile in the world.
Sleep well. 🇺🇸
Imagine writing and releasing a 425 page book in 2025 called “Chokepoints: American Power In The Age of Economic Warfare” and not managing to write the word Bitcoin once. Insane.
The author did manage to name “Libra”, e-CNY, and “cryptocurrencies”. The entire discussion took up just over 3.5 pages.
Anyone who had a problem with Hunter Biden’s business relationship with Burisma but does not have a problem with this business relationship is a hypocrite. FWIW, both offend me.
I think Trump will temporarily lift the tariffs with Canada but then keep threatening to reimpose them (& sometimes imposing them) to try extract ever more concessions out of Canada. It’s his go to move. Until Canada just has enough and tells him to f—k off. It’s gonna get nasty.
