Does anyone else experience times when stacking #btc just feels like a chore?

Anyone have any alternatives to buying #BTC to Coinbase in the UK. Really want to move away from them but not seeing any other strong candidates?

Post “Ledger-gate” I have purchased a Bitbox 02 (#Bitcoin only), Coldcard, and a Blockstream Jade. Researching the hell out of them all until they arrive. In terms of combining security and and UX, I’m leaning towards the Jade. Change my mind . . . .

Does Ledger have access to pass-phrases also?

Going down the #btc security rabbit hole as I presume many of us are now. Are the benefits of air-gap overstated? Information transfer between hardware wallet and computer needs to happen whether they are connected by a wire or not? Anyone have any expertise here?
