I didn't see any calls for restraint or censorship in the aftermath and sharing of the slain Ukrainian refugee that was brutally stabbed, but the calls for censorship and respect for the Charlie Kirk situation has everyone up in arms. The double standard is disgusting. You don't get it both ways. This platform is not here to serve your desire for selective censorship. Freedom of speech and freedom to post is not up for negotiation. Nostr must do better. Just like posting on the blockchain, nostr is an uncensorable immutable system of record capable of preserving critical evidence others seek to cover up, delete, and try to make disappear. Every clip from every horrific event, jubilation, and celebration deserves a place here in the event it could help bring justice to the victim and peace to their families or otherwise record important historical events. #nevercensorednostr #nostr #grownostr
