Nostr has so much potential it is insane. Can't believe I didn't notice it sooner.

Australian government’s gotta remove themselves from energy production policy and coordination, not likely to happen, though. Quit choking the system with their bullshit. Let the free market decide and figure out the best way to power shit. Period. Incentivise small-scale Bitcoin mining to spread the network’s power to real people. They could throw cash at node setups for anyone who’ll run them, reward uptime, not version. People should pick their code, their energy and their money. Government’s job is security and defense first, no more, no less. Decentralizing and strengthening the Bitcoin network is a matter of national security and they don’t even know it yet, hell they don't even know they need it yet. Sure, there might be holes in what I said, but I’d rather see tax dollars drive real change than fund solar panels and batteries for some investor’s rental empire not to mention another retarded wind farm. My two sats worth.

Bitcoin doesn’t fix all, but it hits hard on the major issues: centralized control, inflation, censorship. Every household should run a node, I'd love to see it! Don’t downplay the impact. 💪⚡
