I’ve been listening to the radio for years. AM, FM , and every weirdo and political talk show across the spectrum. I find NPR’s condescending and self-righteous tone to be the most deceitful and misleading of them all. Even though they do it with “politeness” and “concern” for our safety, they spread the most baseless fears and unnecessary messages that only seek to undermine our ability to think for ourselves. They do it so damn well though, that everyone thinks this is the “proper” way to behave. Fuck these gaslighting liberals.

Slowly, over years, I’ve re-programmed my brain and body to be OK with doing NOTHING. Nothing at all. Not reacting, not worrying, not criticizing, not moving. It was uneasy. It was terrifying. I truly was my own worst enemy. It is easier now, but it still takes WORK to trust and believe in your own power. It’s in there, and they don’t want it out. The demon of self-doubt is everywhere in our culture. Don’t let it win. You can just FEEL BETTER.
