#GM and Blessed Sunday to you all. I bought a used Steam Deck last week cause I had a hankering to play old-school #HL2, but my son has stolen it to play Silk Song.

I've had some mind-bending interactions with older so-called "hippies" from the Grateful Dead era lately; I was having a great conversation with a peer about his work with AI and his software career, when this older woman butted right in to criticize and regurgitate her opinions to us. The overwhelming ideations amongst that 60's era liberal demographic seems to be that the world is ending, that they did the best they could, and that it was everyone else's fault but their's for the the climate devastation they see as the sole reason for our demise. They've convinced themselves that the world is just going to end with them, and have given fuck-all to empower the next generation. They've had every golden rail or economic success to ride, and they are sitting on pensions while telling the younger generations how wrong they've got it. What scares me the most is that they seem ready and willing to hand over all of their assets and property and wealth to their preferred political party or private corporation, rather than to embolden the next generation. We must NOT let them sink the ship on their way out. The transfer of power over the next decade better be a good one. Get involved, and stand up for the future.
