Old elevator doors make great work benches. Here’s the latest one I built. Found some casters that have ratcheting feet built into them. Wheel the table where you want it then ratchet the feet down and level it out. It’s a big table so I wanted it to be mobile so I could roll it out of the garage when working on a car or bike and want more space. Plus when the weather is nice I can wheel it out and work outside. #welding #weldstr

Got the basket case PW50 I bought for my son straightened out today. The carb was so corroded I ended up just buying a new OEM one. New throttle and choke cables, new kill switch, deleted the oil injector, and of course had to pimp it out with some fresh graphics 🇺🇸🦅 It’s still going to be a few months before he’s big enough to ride it, but it’s ready to rip when he is.

GM 6 mile run to start the weekend. First run in 15 months so I’m stoked I was able to keep it under a 9 minute mile pace. In October 2023 I attempted my first 50k trail race. At mile 17 I tripped running down a steep descent and ended up pretty much doing the splits and pulling my groin trying to catch myself. I gimped my way through the rest of that loop and dropped out of the race. I was pretty discouraged with running at that point. Beginning of 2024 I started racing BMX again and that was my excuse for never running. 2025 I think it’s time to get back to it. Excited to see how much better it makes me feel on the bike too.

I’ve been here a little over a month but all these TikTok refugees got me thinking I should probably do an #introduction I never got on TikTok, I’m more of an Instagram convert. I’ve manly used social media for car, truck and motorcycle type content. I am a Bitcoiner and I’ve know about Nostr for a while now but never bothered because I knew there wouldn’t be much gearhead stuff going on here. Gotta be the change you want to see right? I’ve never been into creating content but I want to start providing value instead of just consuming and this is the place to do it. Most of my content will be cars, bikes, fabrication and homesteading stuff. Occasionally you might see some Bitcoin and political posts. Maybe some fitness, maybe some firearms.
