During the recent"negotiations" Putin claimed Russia had full control of Kupiansk. Now... 😂 image Interesting thing is I'm told a big part of this successful offensive was unmanned _ground_ robots. It's not just airborne drones anymore.

Yet another ship transporting oil for Russia has been hit, the Dashan: Interesting how Ukraine used multiple sea drones to take it out, even after it had already been hit. Wanted to make sure it was taken out permanently; not just damaged.

The state of Russian aviation: the An-22 heavy transport plane was supposed to be retired a year ago. Desperate for heavy lift capacity the Russian Ministry of Defense kept flying them... and the other day the last one had a catastrophic mechanical failure and crashed, killing the entire crew. 😂 The stupid thing is this could have been achieved years ago with bombs rather than economic failure, saving literally tens of thousands of lives.

Ukraine released footage of their attack on two oil tankers transporting oil for Russia. The entire Russian economy is a valid military target.

Russian attack on an apartment building in Ternopil, Ukraine, 150km from Poland. They used a cruise missile to destroy the top of an apartment building, 25 dead so far including 3 children: image They're just psychopaths. The sooner we exterminate Russian culture the better.

Merchants should be required to pass on credit card fees. It's ridiculous that we have cards giving 3% cashback, charging merchants 4%. There's cases where these fees even result in merchants losing money on every sale. The whole thing is a scam only made possible by the duopoly position credit card companies are in. Russians sneaking into Pokrovsk, Ukraine, under cover of fog. Due to enormous numbers of Ukrainian drones, and their depleted reserves of actual military vehicles, they're riding to battle on the same crap you'd expect from Jihadis in the middle east.

Some friends of mine have bought a used Ford 4x4 for Wild Division, of the 82nd Air Assault Brigade of Ukraine. I visited them earlier this summer: image They already have the vehicle, and a volunteer driver. We're just trying to get another ~500€ to pay for the ferry and gas to Eastern Ukraine. So I thought it'd be fun to raise the funds with Arkade's new Ark wallet, arkade.money All you need to do is send funds to the Ark address I've setup: ark1qq4hfssprtcgnjzf8qlw2f78yvjau5kldfugg29k34y7j96q2w4t5pnjjnnvr9f46x3j6v2dmx64lqgqy87rf8y37z759esvv2rexj6crhdp5d image You can fund your Ark wallet with either lightning or on-chain funds. I'm in control of that wallet, and I'll forward the funds to the people who need it. Civilian 4x4's are used by all the front line units. Unfortunately, due to funding constraints, there's nowhere near enough proper armored vehicles. So most of the smaller vehicles used for transportation tasks are unarmored civilian vehicles, painted with camo. It's frankly totally nuts that full scale warfare is being done this way... But Ukrainians have to make do. I've done a bunch of economic transactions with Ark myself, and haven't managed to lose any money yet. It's an interesting alternative to Lightning; most of my L2 paper last year was about Ark: petertodd.org/2024/covenant-… This will probably be the first fundraiser anyone has ever done with Ark! If we get more than needed for this task, I'll find more uses for it – they certainly can use more vehicles for example.
