While I really enjoy the custom, one-off type jobs, go-fast racecar parts, etc., today had an assembly line flavor. This is the stuff that pays the bills. Attaching ornamental scrolls to the top of existing customer supplied aluminum street sign flags (the reflective street names slide into these frames). I also took time to make some necessary repairs on these brand new weldments that were sourced from another shop. There are different levels of quality, fit and finish, expectations can vary widely in any industry. Last year I started a bit too early and by the time we were past last frost many of our plants were very leggy and did not fare so well come transplant time...waited a bit longer to start them this season, we'll see if my timing works out better ... #grownostr #gardening
