🇩🇪 Letztes Wochenende in Schloss Hellbrunn nahe Salzburg gewesen. Besonders gefallen hat mir das überdimensionale Schriftband im Oktogon neben dem Festsaal. Es weist auf die Oper L'Orfeo von Monteverdi hin, deren Aufführung in Salzburg im Jahr 1614 als erste Opernaufführung nördlich der Alpen angesehen wird.
🇬🇧 Went to Hellbrunn Palace near Salzburg last weekend. I particularly liked the oversized banner in the octagon next to the ballroom. It refers to the opera L'Orfeo by Monteverdi, whose performance in Salzburg in 1614 is considered to be the first opera performance north of the Alps.
